No, this isn't a post expressing the wonders of Glee (I only lasted till season 2 - I found myself fast forwarding the dialogue to get to the songs. When I found myself fast forwarding the songs too I knew it was the beginning of the end)

A few people have commented on  how empty my Etsy shop has been looking of late. It's true, there is nothing to be seen in there at the moment. I spent many an hour over the summer mulling over what I have done so far with Edenfound and where I wanted it to go and I've decided to change direction.

I will be exhibiting my new items at the Winter Wonderland Christnas Market on Saturday 8th December, which means I will be a busy bee over the next few weeks. But, don't worry I shall keep you all posted....

I've just added some retro sunglasses to my shop. They were dead stock from a local opticians and most of them were unworn! The sun may not be shining where you are, but a little wishful thinking can go a long way.....

Thrift Shop Goodies

So I was having a rough day with the girls (you don't want to hear anymore about that - trust me.). So how better to cheer myself up than an afternoon looking around the vintage shops where I live!!

Well, what an afternoon! I found some really great goodies for me and my shop. First of all, there was a basket full of vintage sunglasses. The charity shop I went to is down the road from an opticians, and I guess this must have been their dead stock. Although they're old, most of them still had the original tags on. I bought 7 pairs. 

I'm gonna get these in my shop soon!

I thought they were a great haul and I would have been happy with that, but then on my way out of the shop I saw this...

A little 4 piece ceramic tea set for my girls with its own wicker hamper for £4!!

Needless to say, they played with this all afternoon!

Anyways, I went to another shop and found 2 mini garden chairs for the girls at £1 each and then I found these beauties...

I've put these in pride of place on my dresser!!

So all in all, it was a good afternoon. Have you bought any vintage goodies lately?

My bows are now available to buy from my Etsy shop. They make a great addition to any outfit and are a great way to spruce up boring luggage. You need never lose your luggage on the carousel again! Enjoy.

I made this...

This lovely weather we've been having has been getting my creative juices flowing and I came up with a great idea with what to do with my vast stash of vintage scarves and brooches. These are my 'Bettina' bows and they look great attached to a vintage blouse or handbag. They'll be in my store soon. What do you think of them - you like...?
